Here is an original gen1 Toyota Tacoma. The OG. I am crestfallen to be selling it. I had grand plans for this vehicle but due to life circumstances (going back to school, moving to a major metro) there isn't room for this vehicle anymore. These trucks with this mileage regularly sell for $16,000.The Good: The engine is pristine. It is in excellent condition, rarely driven but kept well. I am the 3rd owner, but I have not put many of the miles on the OD. It drives excellently. 4x4 works perfectly. Clean interior. Everything is great. Except...The Bad: The frame. This vehicle spent most of it's life in NJ and Pennsylvania aka the rust belt. The truck is good to go and can be driven. I had it looked at extensively by a mechanic I trust. However, to be able to drive this truck for another 300,000 miles (which this engine is more than capable of), you will need to put in some money and work into the frame. Exactly how much? I don't know, but I never considered once I made the decision to move to a major city. A 5speed manual 4x4 pickup is not the best for a city where 98% of the parking is street parking...
