No reserve auction. The side car is worth the starting bid! This started life as a 1961 Chang Jang Motorcycle. Long story short the Chinese ended up with the German Machines used to manufacture motorcycles during the war. They made exact copy’s (except the motors)of 1938 BMW’s into the 1980’s. This bike was completely disassembled. The frame was re-welded and the entire bike and sidecar powder coated. Everything was cleaned and chromed. The motor is a 1977 BMW 900cc completely rebuilt. It has a 4 speed rebuilt Transmission with reverse that you can tank or foot shift and shifts perfect. Dual tractor seats with chrome springs. The side car was also restored. It’s a rare dual seat side car. The side car has storage, cigarette lighter,drink holder and rides smoothly.It has the ammunition cans in the front for lots of storage and rear gas can as well as a leather side bag. Everything works as it should. The speedo is in Kilometers 1983 which is roughly 1400 us Miles on the restoration. It shows the speed in Kilometers and MPH.
