I gave up a 240 just like this back then, and I missed it. I am the second owner, if you don't count the dealer's flipper. It was first purchased in Tucson by a school teacher who kept it in remarkable condition, having the car dealer serviced (I have the records). In 2011, she was ready for a new Volvo and traded this one in. That's when I bought it from the flipper and brought it to California. The car had 213,000 miles at the time. Now 7 years later, the odometer is 233,700. This has been my extra third car or if someone needed one for a while. High miles, yes, but really only two adult drivers. Two minutes behind the wheel and you'd like it as much as I do. I encourage you to test drive it or send a representative to do so. I live in San Diego, CA. So, last month, I picked up a 1971 Volvo 145S...someone has got to go. This 28 year old gem is not restored or repainted. ALL factory paint, except by the trunk lock where i used a touch up brush. Air conditioning blows cold.Just a pleasure to drive on the freeway. People always waving, thumbs up, etcThis engine always, yes, always starts.All electric windows work. So does the clock.Automatic trans regularly serviced and shifts smooth.Ipd anti-sway bars on front and backThe tires have 20,000 miles on themNon smoking car, no smellsThe brakes are excellent . straight and true without squealing Original interior almost all there, just little stuffRare folding (and matching) armrest includedIt had a few door dings once, I had paintless repaired allBack seat and trunk look like they were never usedOriginal factory spare Never been on the groundAll the rubber around the doors is in perfect condition, like itwas installed yesterday. This eliminates a lot of wind/road noise.
