This is a 1928 Model A (the title says '29 but that can be corrected - the previous owner was mistaken) The paint could be original and the upholstery is rather good. The engine runs very nicely. The steering gear is worn and requires considerable effort to park the car. It's been worn long enough that the mounting point at the dash has developed a crack. I have a '31 Coupe with a '54-56 F100 steering gear in it and it is wonderful! A fantastic improvement. I was going to do the same to this car but life events have gotten in the way. On Sep-27-18 at 10:54:08 PDT, seller added the following information: A sharp eyed eBay'er noted the vin number and checked his books. I knew this car was earlier than 1929 by some of the various clues. However, I am told it's even earlier than I thought! By this eBay'er's estimation it was made before December 1927, being one of the first less than 5,900 made.Which of course makes it very rare and significant. According to him it has the wrong color top, so it has been replaced at some time in it's life. (another reason to replace it) When I read that I almost withdrew the car from sale (I actually like this car a lot) but before I could finalize my thoughts someone bid on it.
