This is an original black plate California car. No Rust! Car has been a 20 year restoration project that is 95-98% complete. Engine, transmission, suspension all rebuilt. During engine rebuild, valve clearances were left a little loose for safety. Repainted from original white to red by previous owner. Very little wear on Pirelli tires. Brakes good. Does need after market brake booster to minimize brake pedal pressure. Nice interior. Seats appear to be original and show no wear. Carpet has been replaced with close to original color tufted carpet. Does not have original rubber floor mats or back drape. Steering wheel has been replaced with a later model Alfa Romeo (personal) steering wheel. No radio or radio blank. New top added during restoration. Only significant body work involved repairing transmission tunnel that was damaged when front universal donut broke (previous owner problem.) Damaged area repaired with original Alfa parts. Car runs and drives well. Areas needing work: broken fabric rear axle straps, windshield has wiper scratch, dash cover uneven at base of windshield and convertible top needs adjusting. Has dual Weber carbs that may need adjusting, but it idles well at about 750 rpm.
