Vehicle Detail
2006 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor P71 with the Street Appearance Package and VERY low mileage. Up for sale today is my '06 Crown Vic PI that I have owned since November of 2016. I purchased the car with low mileage and it only has 64,800 miles on it now. The car also has very low idle hours on it, only 1133, and is also rust free. I never drove the car in the winter since I have owned it and it was not from Western NY where I am located. Recently I purchased a Ford Explorer PI and I really like having the four wheel drive for the winter and a vehicle that I can drive all year round versus getting a cheap winter SUV like I usually do. This car came from downstate and was placed into service as a detective unit. You can tell from the options that this is a nice car. No spotlights, street appearance package, split bench crushed velour interior with carpet etc. The car also has the Fire Suppression System and Cruise Control which we all know is rare in the PI. The rear doors and window switches work in the back so your rear passengers can actually open up the doors on their own even though this is a PI. The exterior of the car is nice, understand that this was a working unit and does have some minor dents dings and scratches associated with law enforcement use. The car is rust free and runs/drives perfect. I would not hesitate jumping into it and driving cross country with it right now. The car has always been maintained and passed inspection without a problem in the spring. I use the vehicle as a summer driver and as a emergency response vehicle. If you are a first responder and have a need for the emergency equipment I will include it for an extra $250 on top of the selling price. This will include the rear tray lighting, the front visor lighting, grill lights and Whelen mirror lights (not shown in photos). If you have no need for the lighting it will all be removed from the vehicle. The only exterior hole in the car is on the decklid for the antenna. Their are no warning lights on the dash and all options work well with the exception of the cruise control. The cruise has not worked since I owned the car and I never had it diagnosed. Recently the instrument cluster has started to act wonky once and awhile and I was told that it needs to be rebuilt. This can be done for about $100 and I am assuming that this will probably need to be done sooner than later. The car is currently registered and is being driven so the mileage may go up a little bit. When the car receives a bid, since it is selling with no reserve, I will stop driving it due to it ultimately being sold. If you are able to I encourage you to come take a look and the car and drive it prior to bidding. Car is sold as is and all shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. I am happy to assist you or your shipper however possible and will make sure that someone is here when your shipper comes to get the car. The title of the car is in my name and will be signed over to the new buyer when payment is received and cleared if necessary. I am sure that I have missed some things so please feel free to contact me with any questions that you may have. If you have less than 10 feedback ratings you must contact me prior to bidding or your bid will be cancelled. Good luck!
