Private Seller. Rare V8 explorer. Last year of the “Real Explorer”. The V8 explorers from this year have the more desirable 6 speed transmission from the expedition/ f-150. Stronger transmission than the 5 speed in the V6 model. Rare Eddie Bauer trim level with rear Air conditioning option, moonroof, rear back-up sensors, leather heated seats and much more. Selling, because this is now a 3rd car for us and we are not driving it enough to justify keeping a 3rd car. Thousands of dollars and many hours of my time spent on preventive maintenance. I have no doubt that this SUV will last 200K + miles. Title in hand All records from my time of ownership (see below.) 2 sets of keys and all manuals included. Has an aftermarket Magnaflow exhaust that was specifically made for this SUV and it is fairly tame. At idle, it is quieter than stock. Entire suspension was replaced 20k miles ago with KYB shocks and springs. Rides very smoothly. Two tone leather looks even better in person. Service History Oil Changed every 5,000 miles meticulously in my garage with Mobil one pure synthetic or Motorcraft Synthetic blend oil. Used a combination of Mobil one filters and Motorcraft filters. I completed all oil changes myself to make sure they were complete properly with the correct oil and oil fill level. 8/22/18- Replaced battery, all 8 ignition coils with Motocraft ignition coils (preventive maintenance) 2/1/18- 84K-Automatic Transmission Flush, fix rear differential seal, Fuel injection clean, replaced lower ball joints, front end alignment, Replaced Driver’s side lower seat cushion foam for better comfort . 3/23/17- 78K- Repaired leak in AC Schrader valve and recharge freon, replaced ball joints, replaced belt tensioner and belt, changed brake fluid, repaired front axle seal, front differential fluid change, rear differential service, transfer case fluid change, power steering fluid flush, rotate tires, 4 wheel alignment, rear wiper blade replaced 12/20/16-76K- Repaired driver’s side exhaust manifold, installed new gasket, replaced fuel filter 8/21/15- 66K- installed new Powerstop brakes and pads, all four shocks, coil springs and sway bar links were replaced. 8/12/15-65K miles- installed magnaflow exhaust system, replace spark plugs, transmission fluid flushed, transmission filter replaced, freon added to air conditioner, no AC leaks detected, fuel filter replaced, preform BG Coolant flush and replace coolant, 12/30/15- 4 tires replaced- 235 65R18 ContiCross Contant LX30 106H, 4 wheel alignment completed. Stereo- Has an Alpine INE 960 headunit installed. This really brings the technology up to date. Has Bluetooth for phone calls and streaming music, Navigation, a CD/ DVD player with audio and video outputs (extra screen can be added in rear of car) and a built in XM Radio tuner. Steering wheel controls work with this new headunit. Sounds amazing with many sound adjustments, crossovers, etc. All four speakers were replaced with Infinity reference 6X8 Speakers. Factory subwoofer is hooked up. $ 250.00+ in Dynamat was added in doors and under floor helps quiet road noise and make the speakers sound better. Plug in Crutchfield wiring harness was used, so headunit can be unplugged. No ford wires were spliced. Back-up camera added last year. Turns on automatically when put in reverse.
