Vehicle Detail
1967 Camaro SS 350 tribute car. Body - Car was professionally painted in 2013 by Sick Customs in Sunnyside WA. Car was taken down to bare metal and then put back together piece by piece. The paint color is 2012 Chevrolet Camaro silver metallic and all panels were painted at the same time . The car has only been driven a few times since painted and never seen rain. Update: the car has a rust few pin holes in the passenger trunk area that was treated, no rust in the floor boards. Car has been garaged since 1991. Engine - Small block 350 that was rebuilt in 2012 and only has about 250 miles on it. Engine has a small RV cam and serpentine set up with lots of chrome. Aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. Ceramic coated shorty headers with dual exhaust. Power steering, power brakes, edelbrock 600cfm carburetor. Transmission - Turbo 350 with B&M shift kit. Brakes - Front brakes are drilled disc with a 2” drop spindles and the rear brakes are drum on the original 10 bolt non-posi rearend (rear end needs a good cleaning and paint) Interior - The interior metal has been painted black. The seats have new foam and upholstery. Dynamat was installed under the new carpet and new door panels. The headliner was also replaced. The stereo has aux inputs for an iPod and has kick panels with speakers built in and 6x9s in the rear with a subwoofer in the trunk. Wheels - 17” Hot Wheels with 245/45/17 in the front and 275/40/17 in the back. Misc - New fuel tank and sending unit, original center console with Turbo 350 brackets for shifter, new engine compartment and rear body wiring harnesses. The dash wiring harness was in great shape so it wasn’t replaced. All lights and gauges work like they should. Engine compartment was painted same time as car (passenger inner fender paint has one spot that the paint looks rough, needs sanded and repainted to be perfect). New heater core and hoses. Note - this is a nice car and most things have been replaced with new but there are still a few original items on the car. The windshield wipers are inoperable (just haven’t got to it yet). Car does not have door weatherstripping installed because the ones I bought make the doors a little hard to close so I removed them (need softer material in my opinion but comes with the ones I purchased). Note: The car was originally red with a 6 cylinder and a power glide transmission but was switched over to a V8 and turbo 350 transmission sometime in 1980s. Note: The data plate on fire wall was removed to fix a small dent where a header install didn’t go as planned when I was in high school. I have the data plate and was going to have a new one made with all the original information but haven’t got to it yet. Note: This car is a very nice car and I have done 95% of the rebuild but there are a few things that the new owner might need or want to do to finish the car to their liking. I have lost interest so it’s time for a new owner to enjoy this beautiful car. Car is sold as is with no warranty. Buyer responsible for all shipping costs but I will assist with shipping if needed. Feel free to ask any questions and I will try to answer. Car is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end auction if needed.
