Vehicle Detail
Greetings! Here is a 60's era Suzuki K15 Trail 80 motorcycle, actually 79cc rated at 7.3hp@7000rpm. It has a two-stroke engine that uses pre-mix. The bike starts and runs great, with lots of pep, and the 4-speed transmission shifts nice and smooth. The speedometer works as well. It uses a 6v. battery (not included) for the lights and horn, but since it has a magneto ignition, you don't need a battery for starting it. The ignition switch, coil, and wiring have been gone through, the carb. has been cleaned, and a new sparkplug and air filter were fitted. The original petcock leaked, so a simple on-off ball valve type was installed. The cosmetics are good, with only minor rust pitting on the chrome rims, exhaust guard, luggage rack, and gas tank. The tank is dent-free, the original seat has no cracks or tears, and the rubber on the grips and foot pegs is still in good shape. The engine has no broken fins, and the aluminum side case will polish out just fine. There is a rubber plug missing that covers the clutch adjuster, but this seems to be a common loss. The tires are 2.75-17 with aggressive tread - in fact, it says on the side of them: "Australian Postal Service-Heavy Duty" (Crikey!!). Mileage is 10396. The original tool kit, ignition key, and various spare parts are included in this offering. This bike has a clear Missouri title, which will be held until the buyer picks it up. A $100 deposit to PayPal will be due upon winning this auction, with the balance due at the time of pick-up. This is a local pick-up sale, and there will be no shipping and/or quotes whatsoever. This motorcycle would make a great little trail rider, town cruiser, or a perfect candidate for a full-blown restoration! Any questions, please ask, and Good Luck bidding!
