2001 sl 500 convertable hardtop , car is as it left the showroom floor , Arizona car rust free (not an east coast car ), if you want the best example of this car here it is the paint is flawless no stone chips on the front , it has a leather car bra to protect from that ,( it was taken off for the photos) , there is a specialy made winch that lifts the hardtop off the car it hangs from the roof of the garage . the previous owner always had this car in air conditioned garages at home and at work please note there is an incident reported on the carfax in 2003 the previos owner bought it as as a dealer certified car , the dealer told him the lower valance and the fog lamp was replaced due to hitting a parking curb block , it was repaired at the dealer and reported on carfax just in case you see this on the carfax........ the car has never been in a collision , the rear trunk spoiler is held on with 3 m double sided tape and the original trunk emblem has been cut down by the previos owner , it is still mounted using the holes and clips from the factory so if you need to replace it it just pushes on , ive had a few questions about this so im putting it here for all to see . thank you for looking.
