Vehicle Detail

A Oakland California built 1955 Chevy 120, True 1970's Vintage Gasser. As rust free as they come for the year. This car weight's next to nothing, which = speed ! The fenderwell header's are for small block in the pic's, their just hanging there to get the full look, they do come with the car . The only rust is a small area of drivers side rearfloor foot pan, about 6"x1''', i do have the full replacement panel to cut to size or use, other than that, just the small area's of good honest age, which look's great with the original blue body paint, and original white top ! Ton's of 55's with repaint's , try and find another with original paint , nothing is hidden ! The fire wall is perfect, no dent's or cut's. The nice black head linner has a section missing to fit roll bar, this area has been painted as well, look's great. All the chrome interrier window trim has surface rust,i have cleaned and sprayed a thin clear coat to perserve the cool patina, Today i took 000 steel wool by hand and scrubed the entire trunk and cleaned away all the loose factory undercoat, other than discoloration, it's fantastic , no pitting, the pic's don't do it justice. I have left it unprimed so true condition can be seen . There are 2 small stress(?) tear's (typical on these) just below shock mount's, see pic, a $10. repair. This car has been very well cared for, most likely garage kept most of it's life. The frame had been painted (body off) years ago, i freshed it up recently. The floor had drilled hole's for mounting different seats though the year's that have been welded, floor has been treated (no rust again ) and painted, then Fat Mat sound deadner applied. The rocker panel on passenger side has been pushed in, a $120. part on ebay, The primer on both rear quater's are due to small dent's, light coat of filler, no rust. The rear window speaker self is uncut and in perfect cond. The original undercoating really has saved this car. The front steel fender's were blasted then white epoxy primed, then primed blackCar is registered till 8/22/2019, title clear in my name.
