Vehicle Detail
Hello. Here is an original California bike with clear CA title. Most of these first street/trail SL motorcycles were destroyed and thrown away. As a retired mechanic, I bought it to tinker with and ride just for fun around my property in southern CA. I recently moved to Nebraska and brought the bike with me, thinking I would one day register it, and ride within the local neighborhood, but I decided to let it go. I have a record book of the parts I've replaced and work done. I also have an owners manual, original magazine featuring this model, some spare parts and more. Some of the parts replaced and work done are: 1 Throttle cable replaced2 New front and rear tires with tubes3 New stop lamp brake switch at front lever, & LED stop lamp bulb4 Installed a Honda factory turn switch, and aftermarket turn indicators(for safety)5 NGK spark plugs. Adjusted valves, timing.6 Kick start repaired, lower engine seals 7 Changed fork oil8 Oil changed 9 New battery10 Condenser replaced I also repainted the front fender with quaility paint from VMR. The tank, rear fender, headlamp housing, and frame are still the factory paint. The rims and all chrome is nice and rust free! All the lights and horn work with no problem. The added turn signals were done utilizing the factory wire harness, and the modern turn lamps add a nice fitting touch. You would have to look long and hard to find another SL175 as good as this example. Call 531 444 2four89 if you have any questions. If I miss your call, leave message, I'll call back. Thanks for looking. On Sep-02-18 at 21:50:44 PDT, seller added the following information: Pay pal $100.00 non-refundable deposit required in 48 hrs. after auction end.
