Vehicle Detail

When I bought this bike a few years back it had two Massachusetts Titles. One for the bike and one for the motor. The first title lists the bike VIN as 07953: 1957 Triumph, Trophy, TR6.The second title lists the motor VIN as 6TD17350 1957 Triumph T6 with 22,635 miles. With that be stated I have researched that the frame is a 1957 and the motor a 1962 TR6 650cc. The front end, I believe, is a 1967 or 1968 with a 19" Dunlap tire and the rear end is a 16" Harley Davidson. There is no key. It has a toggle switch behind the battery box to turn on the battery and cut the motor. It also has a Dynamo. So one can call it modified, chopped, or a bobber which is how I have it listed for sake of argument. When I brought it home I removed the non connected late '60's Speedo and Tach, had a mechanic go through it and add a repro speedo to it which works. I also added new hand grips, foot pegs and saddle. I also added a new AMAL 930 Carb. It's running a bit hot right now I just need to adjust the air/gas flow. Last Fall I drained the oil and ran Miracle Mystery Oil through it to clean out the motor. I only rode it a few times since...not far. It leaks some oil from the head when running but nothing dramatic and does not deter from the bikes performance. It starts up and is pretty fast, at least for my 60+ body. The wiring in the headlight is a bit dated and only the high beams work. This bike is garage and was when I bought it. Very cool 1960's style bike. NO RESERVE! $500 due 24 hours after auction closes. Buyer must arrange for shipping. Thank you for looking. On Sep-01-18 at 03:43:43 PDT, seller added the following information: Answer to a question: Hi Chad,One Title is for the 1957 Frame. The other is for a 1957 T6 motor. I believe the motor to be a 1962 TR6.I live in CT. The bike is registered, but after 20 years CT does not require a title. The CT registration reads:HISTORICAL; VIN: 07953; Yr: 57; MAKE: TRIUM; MODEL T100. This registration is transferred to the new owner which would be used in your State. It is also insured with Haggerty. The bike runs very well. I rode it a few weeks ago. I when I started it I forgot that I had the idle High and needed to lower it that's all.So in other words when the clutch is let out it goes with out pulling on the throttle. It's a 15 minute tinker that I just am to lazy to deal with. I have sold 4 antique bikes in the last year. I have other interests and planning to build my retirement home out West. This bike is very cool and rides well. Remember it's fast and the shift is on the RIGHT.I hope that I have answered your question.Best,Carl
