Pictured for sale is a 1967 Ford Mustang fastback project. It is a dry southwestern car from New Mexico and as expected the overall structure is quite solid. As the pictures indicate it will need a complete restoration including some body and floor repairs. The shock towers, torque box(s) and front and rear frame rails are all very solid with very little if any surface corrosion. As seen, a previous owner had dismantled the car. The majority of the fastback specific interior items and seats are present. The tinted rear, vent and side window glass are included as well as the stainless window trim. Additionally, all of the door window regulators, locks and “guts” for the doors are present. The car was originally Acapulco Blue (see last pic.), 6 cyl., 3 spd. car although no drivetrain is present. Due to this cars structure/condition and that it is an original Mustang fastback -not a coupe to fastback conversion, it would be ideal for a restomod or at minimum a V8 upgrade. Most would agree that the 67 fastback is one of the most desireable and sought after models of the Mustang. Considering the cost of a new but bare Dynacorn fastback shell at 17-18k + shipping this car would be a fine choice for a donor or a restoration that would be more desirable with real Ford metal and a real Ford Vin number. The Mustang has a clear New Mexico title as well as the data plate still attached to the drivers door. The Data plate decodes as follows below. The car presently rolls and steers easily.
