1986 Pontiac Fiero GT T-Top. 55,011 of 83,974 made. GM color code 81 Bright Red. California rust free . Car is in great condition for a 32 year old car. No check engine lights on dash no over heating issues or mechanical issues noted. Passes CA smog and is currently on the road- always garage kept. 172xxx miles on the dash original motor all maintenance completed on schedule. Car is an automatic but i prefer that when sitting in LA traffic. Car is located in Carson , CA 90745. I strongly encourage buyers to come in person for inspection and test drive local or freeway to ensure they are satisfied. I also have a walk around video i will try to post for viewing. Youtube video of a walk around : https://youtu.be/oBwu4QOLEl4 Interior :Tan saddle interior 9.5 out of 10 due minor stitching coming apart on driver side lumbar section. no rips or tears at all. only the stitching is starting to come apart about 3 inches total size. rest of interior has zero issues. head liner is intact and not sagging. I keep a carpet cover on the dash to prevent sun fading in the sunny CA weather. And T tops stay in safety bags as mentioned above Exterior:8 out of 10 . Paint is GM color code 81 same on original RPO sticker. Both front and rear bumpers are freshly painted along with the rear deck lid since the wing was removed also all the bottom grey trim was re-painted red as well. the front hood , fenders , doors and rear quarters were NOT painted due to being in great original paint and just wet sanded and polished. The rear quarters do have some deeper scratches that would not buff out and were lightly gone over with a touch up pen. T-tops do not leak water and both glass tops are in great condition with NO chips or cracks and currently stored in safety bags behind the seats for safe keeping. As you can see in the photos t-top seals are in great condition no rips or tears on either side. The GT taillights are tinted with smoke black for cosmetic purpose to hid delam. Rear Sail panels have been customized and cut out then painted with black bed liner for a rough texture appearance. Engine / Powertrain: Original automatic V6 2.8L with 172xxx on the clock. No trans issues with shifting or leaks. No check engine lights on dash no erratic idle or vacuum leaks of any kind. Full maintenance always kept up on time. A/C is not functional you will need to convert to R134a. Since this is not my daily and only driven on nice days I do not care for the option.It is an accessory and does not affect engine performance The Good: 32 year old car. Classic insurance is $ 150 for the year if garage kept.No CEL light . passes and is smog current. Ready for CA sunFREE set of sail panels from Fierofiberglass before Jim retired , FREE GT taillights with no cracks no scratches , FREE set of BRAND NEW TIRES, Free parts including 120 speedo , sun visors , aux gauge , matrix dot bezels etc etc. ALL FREE IF RESERVE IS MET. if reserve is met i will also have the tires mounted / balanced free of charge. these items alone total up to 1k in free parts. The Bad: Rear quarter panels do have deeper scratches that would not buff out and used touch up pen to correct. Not all panels were re-painted a/c system will need to be converted to R134APassenger window motor makes noise when going down but does function . i will have this window motor replaced by a shop before the sale.GT taillights tinted to hid delam and a hair line crack. BUT I do have a spare set with NO cracks NO scratches that will go with the sale if reserve is met.
