Please read my entire description prior to bidding. Thank you very much. Clear Title in hand in my name.1969 BMW R69US.Very rare and desirable 1969 BMW R69US. This is a triple matching numbers bike. Frame matches the engine which both match the title. With the telescopic front forks, these were produced in very low numbers. Only approx. 1100 or so were produced from 1968-1969. So, you are buying a pretty rare piece of BMW motorcycle history.I am the 2nd owner of this bike. It has been kept indoors, ridden easily, and correctly stored in the winter time. The bike has been pampered and both owners, myself included, are older guys, I am 68 and the original owner was 83. The mileage is correct, 23,587 miles. Yes, this is the original paint and yes the bike is original except for the mufflers which were installed in 2006 and are a later R series muffler. I recently had the bike tuned properly by a BMW mechanic. It rides down the road excellent and performs as it should with no problems. Everything works, including all electrical items. I recently installed a new set of Michelin A8 tires on the bike. The bike still retains the original tool kit as pictured, stored away. On Aug-20-18 at 11:10:47 PDT, seller added the following information: I have been told by someone on ebay that my bike is an R60 they are supposedly the same as an R69except the motor. then someone told me my motor is from an R69S. So all I know is that my title Says R69 and it says VIN is 662221 and that matches what is on the engine and the metal tag on the front of the bike. And it sure runs good.
