I'm selling my 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the Mercedes OM642 Turbo Diesel engine. They only made these from 07-09, while it was DaimlerChrysler, so they're pretty rare. These legendary engines are still used in Sprinter vans and are known to go 500,000+ miles. I bought the Jeep from White Allen (in Dayton) in 2012 when it had 45,227 miles on it. As it sits, it has 133,750 (mileage will remain close to the mileage reported). It's been rock solid and I've personally maintained it. All maintenance was done according to schedule. Recently, the oil was done 1,000 miles ago (will be glad to change prior to sale), fuel filter was replaced, air filter was replaced, differential and transfer case oils were changed AND I just put on new brakes, pads and rotors. Brand new AC compressor, dryer and expansion valve. Aftermarket stuff - I researched everything before I installed it on my Jeep. Since this is my daily driver, it had to be reliable. The Jeep is tuned with Green Diesel Engineering (GDE). Between the tuner and tunes, there is almost $1,000 in hardware alone. I have the HOT and ECO tune for the DPF. I only have the HOT tune with the DPF delete. Having said that, I deleted the DPF and had an MBRP 3" catback exhaust put on. Factory DPF is included with purchase. CB Engineering turbo resonator delete. CB Engineering CCV delete/re route (under passenger floor board). Jeep is lifted 2" with OME springs (medium duty up front and heavy duty in the rear) and Bilstein 5100 shocks. JBA Upper Control Arms. 1" wheel spacers, gives a flush look to the fenders. Stubby antenna. Fumoto drain valve on oil pan. Windows are tinted 50%. 4xGuard engine and belly skid plates. Also have an extra set of Everest wheels (no tires), but they need to be refinished. Original mats along with WeatherTech front, rear, and cargo area liners are also included, but not pictured. TMPS light comes on occasionally (sensors are bad). CarFax will show a mileage discrepancy... when I bought the Jeep from White Allen, there was a clerical error. They wrote 45,722 as opposed to 45,227. A signed affidavit from the previous owner verified mileage to be true and it was submitted to the state of Ohio. Rear bumper has a scrape/dent. Gate at work ran away and hit it. Driver side seat has fold over wear from sliding on and off the seat. Left side of the radio buttons don't light up at night for some reason. There are paint chips on the hood - it is an 11 year old vehicle. That being said, I couldn't find a single dent. It's a great running, looking and riding Jeep. Within the past month, I've put close to $1,000.00 into it with new pads, rotors and hardware, AC system - compressor, dryer and expansion valve, along with the inspection and fluids. Speaking of the inspection - it was done by an old Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge car dealership that has turned independent. Aside from all the recent maintenance, I've personally maintained the Jeep with the highest standards. Oil changes were ALWAYS done at 7,500 mile increments using full synthetic Mobil 1 0w30 ESP. Once the DPF was deleted, I've been using Rotella T6 since I no longer have to worry about clogging said DPF. Air filter was done every 15,000 miles. Fuel filter was done every 25,000 miles. Transfer case and differentials were always done at 25,000 - 30,000 miles. Nothing but MOPAR NV246 in the transfer case. Royal Purple for the differentials. Deposit of $500.00 is due within 24 hours of auction. I will do what I can to assist with pick-up or shipping.
