Vehicle Detail
2000 BMW R 1200 C / R1200C Classic Cruiser - PERFECT! It would be downright disrespectful (not to mention wrong) to call BMW's R1200c just a cruiser. No cruiser you have been on handles with this much precision. Fuel-injected technology and sheer brute force pump out 71lb - ft of torque. An agile anti-drive Telelever front suspension sons up the bumps while anti-lock brakes deliver quick, controlled stopping power. It's more than just a cruiser. A lot more. And you've got to respect that. Plus, lets not forget that this bike is also known, by fans, as the 007 bike. It was featured in the James Bond movie, "Tomorrow Never Dies". Bike features; removable windshield and hard saddle bags (always garage kept) Recently serviced; oil, tune-up, and battery Mileage may increase slightly due to riding weather Clean North Carolina title in handEverything works 100% Delivery may be available for an additional fee (contact FIRST prior to bidding). Otherwise, buyer responsible for pick up or setting up delivery within the month of sale. Not too many of these around; The BMW R1200C was a cruiser motorcycle manufactured by BMW Motorrad from 1997 to 2004. BMW manufactured 40,218 units, including a smaller engine version, the R850C, which was produced from 1997 to 2000. The R1200C was BMW's attempt to tap into this market, and was a significant departure from their previous endeavors. The R1200C was designed by BMW head designer David Robb, featuring a cruiser riding posture. From its inception, the R1200C featured a passenger seat that could fold up to become a driver backrest with three different angles, adjustable while riding. BMW first released the R1200C with an advance promotional placement of the motorcycle in the James Bond film Tomorrow Never Dies. The R1200C was one of four BMW motorcycles featured in The Art of the Motorcycle exhibition at the Guggenheim Museum in New York City in 1998. Other bike items (not pictured) available at an additional cost; jacket, bike cover, charger, helmets... I provided photos so that you may make your own evaluation on condition and quality.
