1999 BMW R1100 RT ABS. Good running, good riding machine. Fuel injected, and all stock drivetrain wise excepting K & N air filter. Does not leak, smoke, or make any weird noises. It really is a pleasure to ride. The mileage on it may increase some, as I am still riding it. Equipped with all three pieces of factory luggage - top case, and saddlebags. All are watertight, lock with the ignition key, and are removable. Windshield is electric, raise or lower from the switch. Bike is also equipped with a throttle lock, heated grips, phone / GPS holder, and highway footrests that fold out from the cylinder heads. Will come with a Powerlet adapter to plug your stuff in. All service on it is current - oil/filter, gearbox, final drive, and spark plugs done within last 500 miles. Battery new within last year. Tires are Bridgestone T30, and are in good shape. Hall effect switch and alternator belt replaced two years ago. All of that is the good. Now, the not so good: the clutch in the machine is weak. If you run it hard enough, you can make it slip. I bought this bike 4 and a half years ago from the BMW dealer in Roanoke, VA, with 50K miles, and it has been this way since I got it. I have always thought at some point it would just quit working. It hasn't. I've had it out on several very long trips, running along at 85 MPH, and it is fine. But, this has to be said. I've priced it accordingly. Clear Tennessee title in hand. Bike is located in Nashville, Tennessee, and will need to be picked up here. Deposit of $500.00 due within 24 hours of sale end, PayPal fine for that.
