Selling my 58 Chevy Apache step side, and I will probably regret it. Started as a frame off resto-mod that I no longer have time for. Been sitting idle for 5 years and its better off in someone else's hands to appreciate. Currently set up for a stick shift but can easily go back to the 3 tree with a different column and minor work. Only time I drove it was right to the shop after purchase. She's dusty and needs a cleaning for sure but isn't far from being road ready, just needs some love. It is in the Cali DMV system with a plate number attached but no plate issued as the project was never completed. What it has:- Frame's been sand blasted and powder coated- Body has been taken apart and smoothed out. - 4-linked suspension- Posi tract- Never fired Chevy crate 383 stroker. 410hp/440ft lbs - Set up for serpentine with dual auto fan BeCool radiator - Rack and pinion - Gas tank relocated under the bed. - Smoothed out firewall - Vin matches registration, needs to be verified at the DMV.- Body is clean, had it smoothed out prior to paint and all rust removed. I double checked and didn't see any new rusting What it needs:- Electrical- drive shaft and tran- Engine should probably be spaced up away from the rack and pinion more. Right now its clears by about 1-2 inches. - Shock arms are rusty from sitting, should have powder coated them but I didn't.- Gas tank may need to be modified in its mounting or replaced. I think it sits to low and may bottom out in certain conditions. It's brand new though. - Will need a starter, alt, whatever else you want to do to it.- Missing the rear diff cover - Steering wheel- Gauges Buyer is responsible for pick up/shipping
