Regular oil changes and meticulous maintenance. Always. This was my mom's car since 2000 and 10K miles, it was garaged and it was cared for by her mechanic. I got it in 2009 with 85K and I rode mostly highway miles when I worked in DC for a few years. Here's what's been done by me: Cylinder head gasket, Front Shock absorbers and struts, window regulators, full exhaust, window regulators, Alternator Raidiator and hoses, many (if not all) sensors, Air mass meter boot, EGR electronic valve and solenoid, front windscreen. These last three items over the past few months to pass inspection (EGR was needed for engine light and to pass emmissions about 2 moths ago) and to pass it along to the next owner (e.g. windscreen). I have receipts (with pricing) for all and all work done by Diego's mechanic in Stamford. 4 matching Goodyear tires with plenty of tread remaining. Someone sideswiped the left rear quarterpanel (hit and run). Otherwise body is quite good. Basically the car runs well, and it has never left me stranded at the side of the road with two exceptions (long ago dead battery - my fault I should have known to change it, and two years when alternator failed) . My wife has a new car, and unfortunately I need to pass it along to someone else, who will take this camry "TO INFINITY AND BEYOND!"
