The carbs are removed in photo so they could be rebuilt. It truly is a very nice ride. This bike is so much nicer than the listing can show. There are quite a few listed as sold for a higher price than that we have. It is a very nice and honest depletion of an unrestored SOHC CB750 Super Sport. It was kept in the barn covered with a breathable tarp and turned over on a regular basis. We cleaned out the carbs and gas tank in order to hear it run. And we bought 2 sets of points (I think they were $18 for both and only installed 1.) The points cover is off so that you can see the condition . Changed the oil before running the engine .Extra carb gasket kits and new oil filter goes($16.00) with the sale Thats all we have done to it. We decided that it would need the carbs reconditioned so we bought 4 carb rebuild kits as well as rebuild kits for the 3 calipers and the 2 master brake cylinders. (front and rear). And we purchased an interstate battery for it for $85.00 The winner gets to do the work. The carb kits cost $68.00 and the brake kits were $118.00. Oh yes last but not least we purchased a gas tank "pearl" kit for $60.00. Thats $297.00 spent . I dont see anything else to fix . Of course this all goes with the bike and there is not really a need to pearl the tank.The big long description that I had on the former listing was pretty correct but I guess it was a bit to much. Lets let the photos do the talking. 1 small seam split that I taped to stop it from expanding on the seat. Beautiful bike .If I keep it I will replace the brake lines when I do the calipers. The exhaust is very nice and it seems unusual to find the original 4 into 1 exhaust this clean and solid . Same with the tank,side covers,speedo,tach etc.Judging by prior parts sales ,maybe I should be parting it out to get the most dollars . The engine sounds great .All electrics work properly. And the Dunlap's are in good condition. The carbs are off to be rebuilt.Same with brake calipers. No title issued in Vermont on a bike this age.
