This is a 1998 Jeep Wrangler TJ with a 4.0. Since I’m asking less than a used hardtop and tranny would cost, this is a great deal for a motorhead who either wants to bring this back to life or transfer all the great parts to their Jeep. I’ll get the bad out of the way. The engine is blown - think it threw a rod. The rear driveshaft broke (but I’ll throw in another carriage with spider gears and a pinion gear)) and the body is rusty. But it has a good 5-speed manual transmission, good clutch, good transfer case and good front driveshaft with new front U-joints & H-yoke -recently balanced. The battery and alternator work fine as well. Plus it has a new catalytic convertor, new muffler & tailpipe with O2 sensors. It has relatively new front brakes, starter, heater blower motor, serpentine belt and gas tank skid plate. In nice shape are the four 31x10.50 tires on custom wheels (2 BF Goodrich ATs & 2 Goodyears) and the hardtop with quick release hinges. Also includes mirror relocators, 2" receiver hitch, 2” lift, replacement floor pans, working air bag and clockspring. And all stainless, door hinges, lift-gate hinges, back door hinges, windshield hinges, radiator grill and fuel filler bezel & chrome headlight bezels. Plus has good glass, bumpers and hood.
