“Ol Blu” is for sale. This was Pops Jeep. He rebuilt it from scratch. He was a mechanical engineer by trade. He bought this for his camp in the Adirondacks in New York. It was stored inside the barn when not in use. He only used it during the summer months to drive around the property. He did go to town with it once a year and drove it in the parade once a year. It got a lot of attention.Pop and the camp are gone now and I had it in a inside storage unit for the past couple years. I put a new battery in it and some gas and it started right up. It seems to run fine. I can’t leave gas in it because of insurance reasons and storage facility rules. I am moving and it’s time to clear out the unit. I don’t know a lot about Jeeps, but it is pretty clean. He put different gauges in it with white background so he could see them better. Speedo says 7011 mile but this is not the mileage I believe. V-6 engine. It has a newer plastic gas tank under the seat. A painless wiring harness. Wipers not working, but they did before. Lights all work. I drove it 100 miles to the storage unit with no problems in 2016. It will come with a new(in the box) winch. I think he was going to mount it. It also has a center console thing with cup holders that was in the back. It has headers on it. You will be noticed with these on it! I did notice some paint bubbling under drivers door area. Solid floors and under seat tool box. It is pretty kool and a real throwback! Paint is ok but won’t win any shows. A can of the blue paint is in Jeep. The top is strong but windows have aged. I think from lack of light and being in storage. The doors were always off during summer. Most of the time the top was also. It comes with a transferable registration and bill of sale. Titles not issued in New York prior to 1973. Sale is final. No warranty expressed or given. It is almost 50 years old. Remember that if you bid. PayPal accepted.
