1989 BMW K100RS VERY LOW MILES <1200 miles CLEAN Runs good It is an Estate Bike, been sitting (in an enclosed clamshell trailer) for many years. Changed the gas out, and fixed un-grounded fuel pump. Sounds good. I would think you would want to give the bike a good once over before taking on a long extended ride. I would change the tires if I was to keep it...They haven't been out in the sun, but...you only are riding on two tires. I have ridden the bike around the block a few times, the ABS light normally shuts off after a 1/10th mile or so. But also stays on occasionally. I am helping a friend settle an estate...he bought the bike new, and sold to his friend who has since passed away. It is almost 30 years old, and I am selling the bike AS IS.
