Please have your funds ready. We can assist in shipping. It was a long term storage car. Runs and drives. The car has been put back in storage. Car has been repainted from 462g Tunis beige metallic to white ivory. 1969 280SL 80k miles, in long term storage, just pulled out, absolutely rust free car. Originally a Florida car and stored in a northeast warehouse. Unibody is excellent,... lower core support, rear valance are excellent. Notches are present on front fender and are 100 percent original. Front cowl retains factory pinch welds on both sides. Rear quarter, rear corner of inside of quarters are 100 percent factory welds. Has tool kit, books. Undercarriage is excellent as shown. Mechanically the car has had subframe mounts, shocks, calipers, exhaust system, brakes, it has been in storage for 15 years.. The car runs, but runs rough,,starts hard. The tank, fuel pump etc. may need to be changed. We purchased it this way. Once running it does not smoke and has oil pressure at 45 lbs at idle when warm. The car runs and drives but we absolutely recommend transporting it. We can assist in transportation. Tires are good. Odometer is broken at 83K. We assume the mileage is close to this since it has been storage for many years and hardly used. Car will be marked TMU. The paint is average. Normal sun aging, Has been repainted to mercedes white ivory. The bright work is good, interior is good, soft top is excellent and was replaced 15 years ago and not used, color is tobacco brown on soft top. Rubber seals are original, interior is original, as shown. We have done nothing to the car except added gasoline. We are selling it as is to the highest winning bidder.
