This beautiful "Retro Red" Honda CX500 was just completed by Retro Rebuilds and ready to roll the streets and turn some heads! This bike has been done with great attention to detail for a very clean and professional look. The engine case covers were removed and professionally stripped, and matte black powered coated for a durable factory finish. The engine block was stripped and repainted using automotive grade ceramic coated engine paints. Aluminum parts were removed, buffed and polished for a high gloss finish. Upgraded Showa mono shock conversion and new custom aluminum sub-frame and seat were installed which improves it's stance and ride. The kick stand was also extended to accommodate the suspension upgrade. Gas tank was also professionally stripped and powder coated in the bright red Honda finish along with the front and custom rear fender. The carbs were cleaned, rebuilt, synced and rejetted for best performance with the new chrome MAC exhaust and UNI foam dual stage filters. Electronics were relocated using the existing factory connections for a clean look along with the new hidden battery and box. New oil, filter and plugs were also installed so this bike is ready for the road, starts and runs great!
