Excellent running 01 Lexus IS300. The car is very reliable as any Lexus/Toyota is. The legendary 2JZ-GE engine runs great. The 5 spd auto shifts smoothly. Ice cold A/C. Many items replaced in the last 5k miles - New Hankook tires, new timing belt, new water pump, new alternator, new exhaust manifold/front cat delete, new brake rotors/pads/fluid flush. New JVC touch screen radio. The windows have 35% tint. The pearl white paint is starting to fade on the roof and front bumper. The car has been in South Carolina its entire life. The sun has taken its toll on the clear coat. Being 17 yrs old it has some scratches, chips, scrapes and few small door dings. The tan interior has the alcantara seat and door panel inserts. The front seats and driver door panel are pretty worn. All power accessories function as they should except the mirrors and slide function of the sunroof (tilt works). The check engine light comes on periodically for a bad temp sensor. The car drove flawlessly from SC to NY and back in Jan and its been sitting since. Needs a good, loving home!
