You are bidding on a 1987 ford thunderbird turbo coupe, this car is not perfect as it is a 31 year old car so remember that. This car is a true California car that has never been wrecked and has NO RUST! It does have its fair share of scratches and dents and a little bit of clear coat peeling on the roof which is pictured. If you have any other questions do no hesitate to ask, I will do my best to answer them. All sales are as is, no warranties. The exterior of the car has scratches and dents but everything appears to be in tact with no major damage or rust present. The clear coat on the car is one of the better ones that I have seen for its age. Although a nice paint correction would work wonders. The interior of the car has some wear but it appears to be all original as well other than the center consol arm rest was recovered at some point. The shift boot has some holes in it and the dash has a cover over the top. It was not cracked underneath the last time I looked at it. The seats are in good shape for there age with no rips or tears just your occasional wear on the driver side bolster which is very minimal. From what I can tell the most all the electronics work on the car besides the fog lights(probably the bulbs) but I haven't looked into it and the driver power door lock went out the other day causing the manual door lock not to work, although the passenger side still functions just fine. The heater was bypassed by the previous owner so the heater does not work, also haven't looked into that either as I live in CA and never had a use for it. The carpet on the passenger side under the floor mat looks to be in great shape and shows no signs of the heater core ever leaking so take that as it is. The A/C system appears to be all there but may need a recharge, haven't messed with it to tell you what exactly it will need. The mechanics of the car seem to be solid. The previous owner said they had the headgasket, timing belt, and clutch replaced in the last 5k miles although I have no proof. The car has never run hot and is all stock. the intercooler boots ripped from old age and were replaced by the previous owner. they are no the best so I bought some oem boots and they will be included in the sale. I replaced the spark plugs and fuel filter when I bought it, as well as changed the oil. The oil will need changed as it is almost due. It does have an oil leak from the drain plug which I have a brand new one with the gasket that will be included as well. Other than that I cant say there are any major issues with the car just remember it is old so it has its squeaks and rattles. The car was recently 5 lug swapped with all mustang stuff. The front end is equipped with 96 mustang front spindles and 2000up dual piston front calipers with new pads and rotors. The rear is still using the factory rotors and calipers but they were redrilled to accept the 95 mustang rear axles which is nice because the emergency brake still functions as it should just remember that if you want to replace the rear rotors you will have to drill the 5 lug pattern into them, the center bore for the hub was also clearance to accept the new axles as well. The driver rear rotor has some groves in it so it may need replaced. The car has some used fr500 wheels with brand new front tires. The rear tires are nitto nt05r drag radials so they don't have a lot of tread on them from the beginning, and may need to be replaced if you want to do a lot of driving with the car. The front brake lines were also replaced at the same time. The antilock brake light comes on when you first step on the brakes but does not effect the braking at all from what I have noticed and seems to be a common issue with these cars. The wheels are not in the best of shape as they have some curb rash and the right rear has a small bend in the lip, it does not ride any different and the tires mounted just fine with no leaks, I have taken pictures of each wheel. Again this is an old car so it is not perfect. It may need a few things to get it where you want it to be but it runs and drives pretty decent. I drive it back and forth to work 5 miles each day. Also the exhaust and emission equipment seems to be all stock except the catback was recently replaced with dual exhaust. This is a no reserve auction, all sales are AS IS.
