Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is this fine survivor Truck! You are considering the purchase of a rare, complete 1970 Chevrolet Truck. Trim is the CST, or Custom Sport Truck. Miles on Odometer are 50,818. I got it in 2009 with 44,000 miles on the Odometer, I suspect it’s flipped once. This truck has had only two owners, and it is complete. The truck has it’s original 350 Engine (Matching Numbers), and it’s original 4 barrel Rochester Carburetor. The drive train is complete and original, a numbers matching 400 Turbo Hydramatic Transmission. This is a functional vehicle that is driven frequently, not some hulk needing mechanical work. This Truck is equipped with power steering, power brakes and FACTORY air conditioning that works. The brakes are drums all around, just like it left the factory in 1970. Little details are all working- The AM Factory radio, windshield washer, dome light and cargo lights still work.Seat covers are worn but still in great shape- side door panels are in poor shape, unfortunately. Original jacking gear is still in place. Vent windows work the way they are supposed to. Windows roll down but are rather firm on the drivers side. Sometimes the passenger side windows hang up, but since I run the A/C most of the time, only the drivers side really matter to me!Original, 8 foot long wooden bed is intact. Tailgate drops the way it should.Tires are good, Four years old. Same size, but Goodyears on the front and Firestones on the back. Rims and wheel covers are intact.Recent tune up has her running like a champ. You won’t find a better running example that is original. Points, condenser and rotor are as factory- No electronic ignition on this beauty. The truck has heavy rust typical of a truck that has spent all of it’s operational life down in South Texas. Nothing unusual or would be difficult to restore. The title is bonded, but otherwise has no issues. Current tags and insured. There's a car I'm interested in and selling this old beauty would help finance it. Upon completion of this listing, the buyer must give a non refundable Deposit of $500. Contact me via E-mail for any clarifications, my email address is Royaloakgerbil@yahoo.com. I've gotten many messages via Ebay, but when I respond, they are bounced back. On Jun-10-18 at 07:25:58 PDT, seller added the following information: I've been ask by a few people if they could "Pay it out" I'd like to and normally would do so, but again, the only reason I'm selling it is because I'm trying to buy another vehicle. So....Payment in full is due in 5 business days or it will be relisted. Thanks!
