Vehicle Detail

1987 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme 442 This is a very solid car for local shows, cruise ins, or just taking a drive! It is not a pristine show car, but presents itself really well. Runs like it should, sounds like it should with factory style mufflers, nice grumble but not loud. 100% stock, original 307 with 92,000 miles. Power brakes, windows, locks, remote mirrors, inside trunk popper. Recent work includes: New valve cover gaskets New heater core Throttle Position Sensor replaced in the carb. Transmission serviced and inspected, new fluid, filter and seals Motor mounts replaced Rear axle seal replaced Complete rear brake job, wheel cylinders, pads, drums (front discs in good shape, too) Outer Tie Rod ends replaced and alignment New turn signal/wiper stalk, right signal a bit finicky, left works fine (cruise control works) Still on the to-do list includes: Needs new emergency brake cable Window sweeps (outer) should be replaced, most all the weather stripping is in good shape with some minor exceptions, but all functional Power antenna not operating (I have a hidden inside antenna in it right now) Air conditioning does not blow cold, but seems to be operational. I’m pretty sure the car has been repainted once in the original dark teal blue metallic. There is a spot about the size of a softball on the front of the hood (see picture), driver side that was resprayed/touched up and the paint color is a bit off close-up. Couple of other small nicks touched up here and there. There is a very small tear on the fabric, driver’s seat near the side/rear of the seat. Don’t see it unless you look for it. The frame appears very solid, some mild surface rust, rest of car is rust free, at least I have not noticed anything during the past few years that I have owned it. Recently downsized and don’t really have room. Hoping to find a good home for the car! Reasonable reserve.
