Up for sale is my dad's 1969 Pontiac Catalina Convertible!! He bought the car in 2008 from a gentleman in Iowa, with 16K miles on it. He got the car shipped to Chicago and re-did the interior with tan vinyl, got the top redone in tan and got the car painted gold. He also added Cragars with the White Wall tires, classic look. The car was only driven during the summer months, never in any rain and definitely never saw snow for as long as he has had it. The body is in good shape, no rust just a couple of paint chips. The car is pretty much stock, the original engine was swapped for an upgraded version of the same 400, there is also a single din radio with a CD player and USB capability with 2 12 inch subs in the trunk for nice sounds when you want to tune out the rumble from the V8. I have driven the car as well and it is fast!! not to mention it also rides nice and is a looker everywhere I've gone with it. This car is my dad's baby, it was is child hood dream car because my grandfather had one when my dad was younger. He is now in the market for a Corvette which is the only reason he's selling. The car is also for sale locally so I have the right to end the auction at any time, the buyer is responsible for transport and a $500 deposit via PayPal is due within 24 hours of the end of the auction, the rest of the payment is due in 3 days.
