1996 RAM 3500 DUALLY LARAMIE SLT 12 VALVE P-PUMP I purchased this truck with the intentions of converting it into a Hodges bed ramp truck. I flew to Miami and drove it 1100 miles home with no issues. In fact I was quite surprised at the 22 miles per gallon I got while driving 75 miles per hour. This truck was a life long Florida truck which obviously led a sheltered life. This truck especially mechanically seems to be 100% stock and I just couldn't get myself to convert it. I also had a duramax at the time so I ended up converting it instead. This truck has an absolutely rust free body on top and underneath. The paint is a driver quality with some chip and scratch touch ups. There are a few very small dings not big enough to photograph. The body is actually very flat and straight for a 22 year old truck. Mechanically this truck performs as you would expect a cummins with this low of miles. It starts right up with no funny noises or issues of any kind. I was told by previous owner that the tranny had been rebuilt about 5,000 miles ago and it too performs as it should. I was also told that the rear end were 355 gears and it too has no funny noises or issues. This truck stops steers and drives down the road very well and I wouldn't hesitate to drive this truck anywhere. The interior is very clean in this truck. It too seems to be very original except for the after market radio. The seats front and back are very nice and was told that the carpeting and headliner had been replaced. The dash is free of cracks. All functions of truck seem to be working ( including cold a/c ) with the exception of a few dash lights and an intermintent cruise control. All in all this is a very solid truck that has stood the test of time very well. It seems to be completely stock with no modifications or chips. You could easily fly in and drive this one home. I have tried to explain this truck as honestly as I can but there is the possibility I could have left something out. That being said I would encourage a visual inspection or at the very least call me for an honest description. This truck is being sold where is as is with no warranties written expressed or implied.
