1980 Volkswagen Westfalia Vanagon Camper Bus. 4 speed manual, 2.0 air cooled fuel injected This does NOT run. I have not got it started since I've owned it. In an attempt to get it running I have replaced the spark plugs, wires, coil, cap, rotor, injectors, fuel pump and a relay. That is all I have done to it. I want this to be treated like it needs a new engine because I cannot say for certain that it won't. One of the spark plugs has a helicoil in it which I imagine would affect it not running some what. That is all I can say about it as far as the engine goes. It does turn over freely. This is going with no reserve, I am ready to move on. It has been a slow project of mine for about the last 3 years but I have simply just lost steam on it and would like to see it go to someone who can finish it. Not perfect by any means but I have done a good bit of work to it thus far. It has all new flooring, paneling, overhead bunk, painted all the cabinets, the cab has new carpet and insulation. I have put a sound deadening material under the flooring and inside of the doors and underneath the carpet. It was painted last year some time, the body is in real good shape, not beat up and dinged up. New tires as well, and I installed some cool multi color lighting above the stove area. All of the camping gear works, stove, refrigerator, propane, water. It will come with all of the original brown curtains and screening for the door. There is also material to finish the cab.
