Vehicle Detail

For sale is my 2012 Ford F150 XLT 4wd, it is my personal truck and I am the original owner. Current mileage is 72,2XX. This was a special order vehicle and I took delivery of it on 5/31/2012. There is currently a 6 yr./100k mi. Premium Care warranty through Ford Motor Company that expires on 5/31/2018. It is fully transferable until then and can be extened for engine and powertrain coverage by the next owner. It is terminated upon transaction if the truck is bought by a dealer and cannot be registered again. The truck is completely stock with no performance modifications ever. Since new, it has been serviced at my local dealer for absolutely everything, including tires and alignment. It has also been treated by Ziebart yearly with all protection services they offer. I am including any and all documentation to the next owner for proof and future reference. To eliminate any question of unknown mechanical issues or unforeseen maintenance required, it has recently had a fresh PA inspection/emissions, tire rotation, and routine oil change done as well. The 3.5 Ecoboost has probably made this the best running truck I have owned. Other than routine maintenance, so far I have only needed the water pump replaced in January of this year. This truck is equipped with the Max Tow Package, which includes the 3.73 gear ratio, specific hitch and rear bumper, large mirrors, all auxillary fluid coolers, and the 36 gallon fuel tank. As configured, it is capable of safely towing 11,200lbs. It is also equipped with the FX4 Off-Road Package that includes skid plates and the electronic locking rear differential. To summarize the routine maintenance, there has never been any expense spared. That also applies to any of the few repairs that were not covered under warranty. All services have been performed in accordance to Ford and BG Products recommended intervals. Engine oil has been changed every 5k miles with MOA additive. Coolant, transmission, transfer case, axles, and brake fluid have also been BG flushed at the proper intervals. If it was recommended at any given mileage or needed for repair, it was done. I maintain all my vehicles to this extent and it is expensive, but to me it’s worth every penny to make a vehicle last. I purchase them with intentions of keeping long term, especially with the cost of new ones continuously increasing. Following the recommendations also eliminates any questions while covered under a factory warranty. From the drivers seat, this truck is a pleasure to drive. The power is smooth and there is zero hesitation. The steering and suspension is tight and the handling is very nimble. My combined city/highway mileage per tank averages around 14.5-15.5 mpg. All highway on a few trips I have seen 20.5-21.5 mpg, which is much higher than I ever expected from a 3.73 gear ratio. Trip B in the display has never been reset and shows a lifetime average of 13.5 mpg. This average is slightly lower due to remote starts, some idling on occasion, and some frequent city driving. The truck has minor signs of age, but they are minimal for anything from Western Pennsylvania. I am very particular about my vehicles so I’ll be a harsher critic than most to eliminate any disappointments or nitpicking. The exterior is very presentable and this truck still gets a lot of compliments. The sheet metal is all original and the paint is nearly perfect. There are no scratches, dents, or even a door ding to be found looking down each side. The only exception is visible along the bottom of the tailgate, as there is one small bubble in the paint from corrosion beginning inside the seam. Another is a barely noticeable corner inside the drivers rear fender lip. These have been documented by Ziebart when it was serviced and detailed on 4/16/2018. Apparently, these are still common issues with every late model truck that is exposed to salt and brine in the winter. Even more specific to Ford, the wheels and step bars have started pitting. Nothing horribly noticeable, but nearly impossible to prevent here in the northeast. The driver's side door has some small rubs along the edge, and one other to note is a light scuff on the rear roof of the cab, this was the result of a falsely identified gate height when exiting the parking garage of a local hospital in March of this year. Had it not been for litigations continuing between my insurance agent and the hospital's risk management department, it would have been buffed out by now. The keyless entry pad shows some wear because I’ve used it regularly, but it functions perfectly. The hitch has never been touched up, repainted, or coated by Ziebart due to being a component for visual inspection prior to towing at any capacity. I have not had time lately to get the engine bay steam cleaned. This service is not offered by Ziebart, but some reputable service shops still do and it looks outstanding afterwards. The interior is also nearly perfect. I have had the optional Covercraft Carhartt seat covers on all the seats since new and have only removed them when they needed washed. They will be included, washed and ready to go back on. I was never a fan of any seat covers until I had them, and now I’d have to say these are a must. There are no tears, frays, or stains on the seats and the padding is still strong. The carpet is still excellent as well. The steering wheel has slight wear on the top spokes and the drivers door panel has some light marks from puppy claws. The 265/70/17 Michelin AT's that came on this truck new are the only tires I have ever had on it as replacements. This set is at about 50-60%. I maintain 40psi. year round with rotations every 5k miles and I have averaged 28-30k miles consistently with them. Fairly good for a full size truck in Western Pennsylvania where roads conditions can be marginal. All options on the copy of the original window sticker are present on the vehicle and it also has the factory Ford remote start. Essentially, this is every option that was available on a Supercab in 2012, except for the folding tailgate step and satellite radio. All of the following accessories where added to this truck within the first 1-2 months of purchase:-Ford rear wheel well liners -Linex premium spray-in bedliner -Extang Trifecta Tonneau cover -Vent visors -Weathertech no-drill mudflaps -Du-Ha rear under-seat storage tray -Magnaflow stainless exhaust tip - this is technically the only allowable modification that won't void Ford warranty, I only wanted a better look than the stock tailpipe. I have the stock front bumper insert to replace the license plate holder, a factory Ford locking gas cap, and I may also have the factory floor mats that are unused because I have used heavy duty rubber ones since new. All in all, everything works as it should and this is a no-excuses vehicle that is clean, comfortable, capable, and well cared for. I have only decided to sell this truck because my needs for a vehicle have recently changed and I no longer have a use for it. I cannot justify keeping a vehicle that will no longer be driven frequently enough to pay for an extended warranty plan, insurance, etc. The truck located about 20 minutes south of Pittsburgh, Pa. I can be reached anytime by message for questions and I will respond as soon as possible. All pictures have been taken between 5/5 and 5/8/2018 when the weather has cooperated, but any additional ones are available upon request. I am currently working shifts but I will do my absolute best to accomodate you, as everyone's time has a value. By all means, serious buyers are welcome to see and test drive by appointment only before any transactions are made. The price is now $20,400.00 and this will be the only reduction. It is below NADA retail but above the clean trade-in value for a couple of reasons. The mileage and age fall slightly out of “certified” criteria for a dealership, but not many will hesitate to park this truck as it sits in their pre-owned with a questionable aftermarket warranty, if any, using the same NADA values as a guide. Personally, I don’t find those guides to always be favorable to consumers and I disagree with their “average retail” values that are inflated. That being said, I would rather sell privately to save the next owner some money and hassle than to hand a dealership $5-6k in profit for offering absolutely nothing on a vehicle they will only purchase at a wholesale price. You will be hard pressed to find another truck this clean with similar options and a factory Ford warranty for under $21k. Now for the terms of business. I reserve the right to end this auction early as the truck is for sale locally. A deposit of $500.00 is due within 24 hours upon Buy it Now, it is non-refundable and full payment must be received within 7 business days of auctions end. I will accept verified PayPal transactions only for the deposit due to the fees charged for the full amount. I prefer bank-to-bank electronic transfer or cash to transfer the title and this sale is final upon completion. My credit union will not accept any type of certified checks due to the risk of fraud. The price is firm and trades or payment plans are not being accepted. Buyer is responsible for all applicable taxes and fees to complete sale. There is no financial detriment pending on this sale and I will not negotiate or accept low ball offers in person. Period. Please make sure you are completely satisfied with this vehicle and that you don't have any reasons that would prevent you from following through on the transaction. Finances on buyer’s end must be in order and non-paying bidders will receive harshly negative feedback. No exceptions. If you are new to Ebay and have less than 5 previous transactions completed, or have less than a 95% positive feedback rating, you must contact me before any transactions. I welcome and certainly appreciate your interest, but I absolutely need to know that I am dealing with a legitimate buyer planning on following through on their purchase. Due to the nature of online selling and the annoyances of today’s scamming society I must state the following. Any appointments to see this vehicle prior to purchasing will be at my local municipal complex. You must have a valid drivers license and be insured if you plan to test drive. I am not picking you up at any airports and there is no shipping available for this vehicle. If you are interested in purchasing upon seeing for yourself, the title and warranty can be transferred locally as soon as payment is made in full.
