Up for sale is my beloved 1972 Ford F-100 - 5 Day Auction - No Reserve She's a particularly rare truck due to the Sport Custom Size and Trim (short bed) combined with the Four Wheel Drive drivetrain. I became the third owner, I believe, of this truck when I purchased her locally a bit over a year ago. The original owner used her as a farm truck in Hotchkiss, CO, mostly transporting Diesel to farm equipment. The owner I purchased from in Delta, CO had begun to strip away trim and whatnot for the "Rat Rod Truck" look. Shortly after purchasing the F-100, I had a reputable shop replace or rebuild many of the front end bushings and joints (see photo of receipt). Since then, I have been bringing the motor and safety to full life with the many upgrades and replacements listed below. She would make a perfect weekend warrior truck; or with a bit more work, a daily driver for shorter commutes. The frame is nearly all rust free. The known areas of rust are shown in pictures. There is a small spot of rust on lower exterior panels of both driver and passenger sides. The floor boards are what need the most work, as shown in pictures. Did I mention the 360 FE? She's very quick off the line. She has also been upgraded to Power Steering and Power Brakes. The only I reason I am selling my F-100 is due to moving to a property that does not have enough space for a spare vehicle. I'm starting the bidding for $2,200 less than I purchased the truck for. The Buy It Now price is significantly less than all the work and parts added. With the current gearing, the top speed is around 65 MPH; so the Buyer will likely need to hire transportation for pick-up, as she won't do well with too much highway time.
