1980 Simson S51 - Near mint condition - This is a unique European motorcycle we imported into the US years ago. It is fully street legal, titled, registered, and is officially classified as a scooter so you don't need a motorcycle license to drive it. It is in exceptional condition and runs great. Everything is original, and the bike has not been modified nor tampered with. It has been garage kept, and very well cared for. Uses traditional motorcycle locations for brakes, clutch, etc (not scooter placements) which makes this a great starter or learner bike. It has a manual motorcycle transmission (left hand clutch and left foot shift). Like all 49cc engines, it is neither fast nor powerful. You probably shouldn't drive it on the highway, and a heavy rider will struggle on steep hills. This bike was designed for smaller European riders looking awesome as they cruise through villages and towns. Kick start, which perfectly fits the personality, and is exceptionally bad-ass. Because the engine is small, the kick-start is easy. This bike is gorgeous and will turn heads everywhere.
