Very nice original leather interior. Always covered with sheep skins. They are in excellent condition and included in the sale. The car still has it's original soft top (very nice).The upper half of the motor has been rebuild. A new valve job with valve guides, seals, head gasket and valve cover gasket. The compression of a 185 PSI on each cylinder in cold condition measured. Several hoses, gaskets and belts are replaced as needed. The front end is rebuild including front and rear Billstein shocks. Brakes are redone with 4 new disc pads and sensors. The car has a very nice original color 2 stage repaint. The car is 100% rust free. The A/C system is converted to R134 and is blowing very cold. There are 2 little problems: The car has a vacuum leak in the central locking system, so you have to use the key to lock and unlock the car. The other problem is, the car has a plastic dash cover with 2 little cracks. This is a very nice, in and out, good looking and powerful running car. The 500 SL's, 107 body style are getting very rare already. That's the reason why my very reasonable asking price of my package deal is $ 28,000.00 firm. If you want to buy one car only, the price for the 500 SL is $ 19,000.00 and $ 12,000.00 for the 280 SL. The 280 SL is a 4 speed with a almost new interior, carpets and door panels. Mechanical 4 new Billstein shocks, 4 new discs and pads plus 4 new tires. VIN # of the 280 SL is 107 042 10 001263. The speedometer is in km's and shows 58,634 but consider it as through mileage unknown. If needed, I will deliver both of the cars to a shipper in Long Beach, Ca free of charge.
