This 2004 Jaguar Vanden Plas is younger than it's mileage. The engine was changed out 18 months ago due to a mechanic running the radiator dry and overheating the original engine. The engine currently has about 89,000 miles on it and the transmission was changed as well. So its major parts have been changed. For those trying to compare this with a regular XJ8, there is no comparison. The Vanden Plas is the top of the line model for Jaguar. This car has almost every option you would find on a new car these days. The car did not come with Blue Tooth, but I have added a Blue Tooth device to connect your phone. There are too many features on this car to list. I have owned the car for 9 years. The only damage that happened while I owned it was that I was sitting at a light (about 7 years ago) and someone, on their phone, bumped into me while they were distracted at a stop light. It caused a crease in the back bumper, so that was replaced through the other person's insurance. There was no damage other than cosmetic. As you can see from the photos, this car shines well and anyone who owns it will feel that pride of driving a Jaguar. The only issue I see is an intermittent message that comes on the dash indicator that says "cats system fault". This is for the air ride system. When the message comes on, the car will ride firm. It does not hamper the operation of the car. You can see from the dashboard picture, I took it while I was driving to show all is operational. This car is my daily driver and has always been. It is your turn to enjoy this great piece of engineering. The lucky new owner of the car will pay the $300 deposit within 48 hours, the remainder of the price won at this auction will be in cash when picking up the car.
