I bought this Supercharged 1999 Toyota 4Runner SR5 a little over a year ago for $5,000 with the intention of making it my daily driver. The body and interior are all original and in good condition with the typical dings, dents, and a few stains for a vehicle of its age (photos included). It needed general maintenance to get it road ready, reliable, and through MD state inspection (list of repairs attached) and genuine or top quality parts were used for everything. Big improvements include: transmission rebuilt @ 155K miles, new Graphite TRD wheels (no longer available from Toyota), new Nitto Terra Grappler P265/70R17 tires, brand new Magnaflow exhaust, and interior & exterior lighting upgraded to LED. I have over $9,500 in the truck and receipts for just about everything to go with it. It has 165,000 miles, is super fast with the supercharger, has the e-locker and original TRD Boost Gauge, towing package with 2" receiver, and a clean title. The potential is limitless. It still needs a little more mechanical work to be complete: There are two codes from the check engine light: P0171 System Too Lean (fuel trim) and P1133 A/F Sensor Circuit Response Malfunction. Possible causes: coolant temperature sensor, MAF Sensor, or A/F Sensor. The supercharger needs a rebuild (it's noisy at higher RPM's). The steering is a little loose. Remote keys do not work. The truck runs great. MD State Inspected, tagged, and road ready. I planned to do the remaining work, but I started a business that requires me to put a lot of miles on my daily vehicle and I don't have time, so this project has to come to an end. With a little bit more love this will be an absolute beast on the trail or on the highway. It doesn't need much. It just needs a good home. Sold as-is with documentation for everything.
