I am semi-retired from the car business but still keep my dealer license active. Being a 'gearhead' is a hard habit to give up! I now have another convertible and not enough garage space. With just 82,200 miles, this sweet driving BMW is barely broken in and truly drives that way. I have several other cars for my personal use, so have only added four thousand miles over the last two + years, always on sunny days! Usually to go for leisurely drives in my neighborhood here in Lighthouse Point, Florida (near Ft. Lauderdale). I was told when I bought the car this was an extra car for the one and only previous lady owner, used for her winters in Palm Beach when down from New Jersey, and the low mileage and condition is consistent with its careful and limited use. Please see AutoCheck vehicle history report from when I bought the car two years ago (in photos).Being a professional in the car business for the last 40 years, and after buying and selling over 13,000 cars myself, I have a pretty good 'eye' for nice cars at great price points, and this car hit the marks: expensive, high-quality car when new, desirable colors, low mileage, never in any trouble, showing much less than normal wear and, importantly, not overpriced. Over $47k in 2001 (see the cars original window sticker in photos), this BMW at $4,887 is a lot of value at 10 cents on the dollar. The Bimmer has all of the right options, including the Sport Package and Premium Package, as described on the window sticker. Fully equipped with heated seats, power on both sides, leather, alloys, power windows and locks, tilt and telescoping wheel, ice cold air, etc... It is original with no modifications and drives with zero faults. SOME DETAILS TO PAINT THE PORTRAIT OF THIS EXCEPTIONAL BMW CONVERTIBLE: The Titanium Silver Metallic paint is in very very good, high gloss condition and it is apparent that this car was garaged before by the first owner, and since by me, and meticulously maintained. I have the car detailed on a regular basis and it shows excellent. The undercarriage is rust free. No road salt damage or road hazard damage. PLEASE VIEW PHOTOS OF EXCELLENT CHASSIS AND LEAK FREE DRIVETRAIN Never any accident history (please view AutoCheck history in photos), no paintwork anywhere except the front bumper cover was resprayed at some time. The front bumper cover is missing a small piece of horizontal snap-on trim down low, but I seem to be the only one to notice it. No rust top or bottom. (Please see the undercarriage photos ).The convertible top is excellent. Again, no cuts or seam separations, wear spots. Glass rear window with defroster. Headliner inside is excellent as well. Of course, it operates just as it should. All gaskets are excellent and there are zero leaks and no wind noise with the top up. EXCELLENT EXTERIOR PRESENTATION Inside is this BMW convertible is exceptionally nice, showing careful use. No cracks in the dash, no loose trim, original carpets with factory original floor mats. The soft grey leather interior shows minimal-to-no wear. Surfaces are supple with no cuts, tears, rips or seam separations. In truly exceptional condition for its age. Carpets are clean and fresh, controls are unworn, not sticky, and the leather-wrapped steering wheel shows virtually no wear.This very well kept car appears never to have been smoked in. Neither the ashtray nor the cigarette lighter appear to have ever been used in this vehicle. All interior trim is in place. I have all manuals, books and original delivery CD's and VHS and the original window sticker I mentioned above. OEM Tools are in the tool tray in the trunk. And 2 sets of keys with built-in remotes. EXCELLENT INTERIOR PRESENTATION The turbine like 3.0 liter inline six engine starts easily, idles smoothly and pulls strong to redline with no smoke, no valve rattle, no issues whatever. This is the engine that made BMW famous for reliable smooth power. The automatic transmission in this BMW shifts very smoothly with proper upshifts and crisp downshifts. Zero issues. The ride is smooth and vibration-free riding on the high-tread matching Continental tires mounted on the original factory alloy wheels. The ride is smooth at all speeds and the BMW tracks straight. Steering is tight, the suspension is proper, with no worn struts, no bushing clunks. Really fun to drive spiritedly, but smooth and never harsh.No fluid leaks whatsoever. Please see the undercarriage photos. Operating oil pressure, coolant temperatures, and charging system are in good order.The exhaust system is factory original and sounds great, no leaks.Brakes are high pad discs all around. Stops are smooth and shudder free.Oil and filter service just recently performed. At the same time, I also had my mechanic replace the PCV valve that is underneath the intake manifold. It is a common repair item on these BMW's and this one is done. **THERE ARE NO KNOWN MECHANICAL DEFECTS ON THIS FINE BMW 330Ci Convertible** EXCELLENT MECHANICAL CONDITION All power equipment operates properly, including the power windows, power door locks, power mirrors and tilt and cruise control. Interior and exterior lights and gauges and safety equipment appear to function correctly. The air conditioning blows ICY COLD even in the intense South Florida heat. I have never had to charge it up, so the system is tight. The in-dash cd stereo is the original factory unit and it has started to lose the pixels on the radio display. It works and plays but hard to adjust if you don't read the display. Rather than buying a used repalcement for $80 here on eBay, probably time to just upgrade to a new stereo with Bluetooth anyway.
