Pictured for sale is a 1965 Ford Mustang Convertible. This Mustang appears to be very original and is unusually complete. The original color is Honey Gold Metallic, an attractive color with a black standard interior. (See photo of decoded data plate) It has what is believed to be the original 289 V8 engine and 3 Spd. Manual trans. The engine is not locked up, turns over freely by hand, but due to the absence of keys, no attempt has been made to start it. The front end items such as the grill, bumper, headlight buckets and valance are just in place temporarily to show the cars overall completeness and for transport purposes. Additionally, the wheels pictured belong to another project and will be switched with 4 "roller" tires. This convertible will need extensive sheetmetal, floor, frame, and mechanical restoration. All glass is complete and useable. Also included with the car as pictured to aid in restoration, are the following pieces of brand new Dynacorn metal totaling over $2800. These items may not all be needed, but are included in the sale.
