Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is my 1994 CBR900RR. I purchased this bike because it is still so original and not cut up at all. straight bike. no dents or dings. It does have some very minor issues but all fairings tank in great shape. Tank is clean and bike runs well. Starts up fine rides smooth and shifts no problems I have not done anything to it after I bought it. I know it has a small oil leak from generator area. I have not checked it out yet and the fuel valve has developed a leak over winter. It has only had Non Ethanol Fuel used. Again bike is in winter storage so I have not got to it. Battery is fresh and is out of bike being charged while not in use. A First Gen 900RR is hard to find like this. It need some small items addressed but I could not pass it up. I have some things going on and having to sell my bikes. Bike is 24yrs old and I will answer all questions and concerns as best as I know. What I consider to be perfect and what you consider perfect may vary. Please ask anything that you are concerned about and I am happy to give out my phone number to discuss over though phone if you email me. I have two other very nice Hondas' up for auction along with this one. I have this bike stored in MN. Email with any questions or concerns. Buyer is responsible for all shipping charges and arrangements. I will help out and make myself available to the carrier for pick up. Delivery is also available for an arranged fee On Apr-14-18 at 06:02:15 PDT, seller added the following information: In response to some of the questions that are coming my way: Not sure what type of device you're using but pretty clear in multiple devices that I looked at it over again. That is a little no fear skull sticker. It is as basically as old as the bike. There is one on the left and right in identical spots. They make reprints of it now but kind of neat it is there. The switch I was told was for hand warmers in the grips. Haven't quite figured it out. I think this bike might not be for you. Where it is priced and what it is I don't think you quite get it. This is not a brand new 900RR. This bike is a clean platform to start a restoration. The tank has no dents or rust and is great shape. The tank alone is worth around $300-$450, I could part it out and probably make more on it. That might be what happens with the person that buys it. I hope not. I hope someone gets it and does what I planned on doing, cleaning it up more and making a really nice bike. That is why I am asking 1800-2300, and not $4500. There are things to be done. That is why and stand by peoples perfect vary. That Yoshi pipe was around $900 in its day, you can't just order those anymore. The bike is jetted nice for the pipe and runs good. But it does have the oil leak and the fuel leak. Those fairings are clean but on the right side there are some small markings and if you can't make out the stickers and can't tell what they are, or even yet care. Probably might want to keep looking. Have you thought about how often you see a 93 or 94 come up for sale? 93s are very hard to come by and 94s almost as hard to find. These bikes were beat up bad by all the stunt guys and squids that crashed and totalled them out. This one survived and is mostly stock. Has original rear fender trunsignals hasn't been chopped up in to a stunt biker. I hope someone gets and feels lucky to find it and own it like I did. I have to much going on at the moment and selling some of my bikes. I really don't want to. And for the $2k. I might not. So if you want a brand new 900RR this is not it. But if you want a good bike to start to put some work in to this is it. It has a lot of items you cannot buy anymore. If the one bidder wants to retract their bid after reading this I am ok with that. Hopefully the bike goes to a real motorcyclist like myself.
