The reason I am selling it for so cheap is because it does need work and I want it to go to a good home; someone who loves and appreciates Saab's and will enjoy it. This car is in good physical condition! The only defects are a few rock chips on the hood, the paint fading a little bit on the roof and the leather on the two front seats is a little bit worn. I am the fourth owner of the car. Two of the three past owners were siblings and both took good care of it. About a week ago, I was driving the car about an hour away from my home and I started to smell burning oil. I popped the hood and noticed a little bit of oil had leaked out onto the engine block. I immediately went and got some extra oil to put into the system with hopes that it would make it back home to my mechanic, as the leak didn't seem too bad. However, it proved to be much worse than I thought, and within seconds of the oil warning light coming on the engine seized. I have found a few engines on eBay ranging from $1,800-$2,500 and, as far as I know, that is all that this car needs. If you can replace the engine, I'm sure you'll get lots of life out of this beauty. I'm sad to see her go, and I'm sad that I don't have the finances to do this repair myself! But I know that whoever buys her will enjoy her just as much, if not more, as I did.
