Up for sale is our 1995 Toyota Land Cruiser with factory locking differentials, TRD Supercharger, Slee Slider Steps, and Man-A-Fre 38 gallon fuel tank. I have done so much work on this truck over the years I will just hit the highlights. I bought it used on 8/30/02 with 124,347 miles while working as a Toyota Master Tech at a Toyota Dealership in SE Wisconsin. I received it with the beautiful wood dash accent pieces already installed. After driving it a few weeks I noticed it was burning too much oil. I rebuilt the engine with new rings, bearings, timing components, oil pump, water pump, 3 angle valve job, and head resurfacing. The block was fine and left untouched. During reassembly the TRD Supercharger was installed. Over the years I also installed a complete set of matching Husky Liners, a Toyota hitch, Infinity Kappa speakers in the doors, a small Kenwood Subwoofer behind the right rear tire, an idle-up control knob, a switch to lock the center diff in High Range, an additional fold-out cupholder above the radio, a push bar, PIAA fog lamps, seat heaters for the front buckets, new Toyota leather upholstery for the driver's seat lower cushion & both middle row lower cushions, Gentex auto dimming mirror with Homelink, 4 coil springs to add about 1" of lift all around, the Blue Hub fan clutch, braided stainless steel brake hoses, and a fairly new Kenwood head unit. I changed the oil every 3500 miles or so using only Castrol 10W30. The truck was hand washed often and waxed with Turtle Wax Paste almost every Spring and Fall. The entire leather interior was rubbed down with conditioner every Winter. Every Spring and Fall the tires got switched between summer tires and snow tires and the brakes were inspected. About every 30,000 miles or so I would flush and fill all the fluids, change all the filters, and repack all 4 sets of wheel bearings. Every 60,000 miles or so I rebuilt the steering knuckles and flushed the entire transmission cooler system. Major service parts replaced over the years include the rear drive shaft, U-joints in the front driveshaft, entire EGR system, viscous coupler in the transfer case, both front Birfield joints, both front spindles, all front wheel bearings, all 4 shocks (more than once), numerous sets of brake pads and rotors, power steering pump, entire exhaust system, A/C expansion valve & receiver dryer, power steering hoses, both idler pulleys for the supercharger, and more minor stuff. At 246,370 miles I sent the supercharger out to Jon Bond Performance to have it rebuilt. While they were doing that I performed a complete fluid, filter, and bearing grease change as well as checking and adjusting the valve clearance. In November of 2004, due to a collision, the grille and left front fender was replaced and painted by a body shop specializing in Toyota cars. In October of 2010 a rust repair was attempted on the upper tailgate just below the window. All parts including the glass were removed and it was repaired, repainted, and reassembled with many new internal parts. A couple of years later the rust returned and has formed a bubble (see pic) underneath the paint. In June of 2015 the windshield was replaced with an identical used one This truck has been our family hauler all this time and never been on anything harsher than a dirt road. The interior is in very good condition; no one ever smoked in it. There is some rust on the push bar, a worn patch of carpet (see pic) in the middle row on the right side, and it has very few small dings and scratches. There is surface rust here and there on the underside. There is slight seepage of ATF from either the torque converter seal or the front pump O-ring on the transmission, but it never leaves any droplets on the ground. The buyer gets the truck with the wheels & snow tires shown, 4 OEM aluminum rims with 80% worn Michelins on them, 3 spare OEM aluminum rims, 1 steel rim, the original fuel tank, the original coil springs, the original radio, a brand new in box custom made fitted carpet from Spector Off-Road, a complete set of never used factory carpet floor mats, a complete set of factory repair manuals, all my paper records, and a big bin of other parts.
