Up for auction is an incredibly clean and rare 1996 Ford F250 XLT 4x4 Crew Cab Short Bed with the infamous 7.3 Powerstroke engine. With only 87,240 original miles, this truck is not even broken in yet! It is near impossible to find a truck optioned this way with this low of mileage. This truck sold new at Tony Copeland Ford in Lewiston, ID and remained in the central desert region of Idaho for its entire life. The interior shows extremely well and has very minimal wear for its age. The carpets are not faded and are free of any major stains or cigarette burns. The front and rear seats are in excellent condition with very little wear and absolutely no blemishes in the seat material. The dash is in excellent condition and is free of any cracking or fading. The original radio remains in the truck and sounds great. The original headliner is near perfect without any sagging anywhere. All of the gauges work as well as the power locks, A/C, power windows and cruise control. The paint on this truck shows very well with a deep shine. There are a few very minimal blemishes on this truck as to be expected for a truck of this age. The clear coat on the roof has began to lift, but the paint itself still shows very well. A photo of the roof can be seen in the listing. This is the only major defect in the paint on this truck. The body is laser straight aside from a dent in the lower facia piece beneath the headlight on the passenger side. The truck is extremely rust free and dry. The floor pans, door bottoms, tailgate, bed, cab corners and cab mount braces are solid as a rock. The body gaps are very even throughout and the doors, hood, and tailgate open and close like a brand new car. The frame and suspension components are very dry and only show a small amount of surface rust underneath. The truck bed is in very nice condition with the original plastic bed liner still in it. This truck runs and drives as well as it looks. The engine runs smoothly with tons of power. The transmission shifts smoothly and goes in and out of overdrive as it should. The tires and wheels are brand new with less than 25 miles on them. Included with the sale are all of original owner's manuals and pamphlets along with the original dealer order data sheet. The four original wheels with four Michelin tires and the original hubcaps are also included. This is one of the most impressively optioned and low mileage early 7.3 Powerstroke pickups left in existence and will surely not disappoint.
