A vehicle history report is included which confirms this fact. The carpeting and ECU were replaced by Suburban Auto Sales of Skokie, IL before resale. The previous owner who purchased from the dealer owned the STI for about two years before I picked her up. Over the nearly two-year period I have owned the car, there have been no issues related to the flood event, electrical or mechanical. I would not have put this amount of money into it if I had experienced any issues relating to the rebuilt title. The exterior is in good shape despite the rock chips/minor blemishes. This past summer she got a full detail with paint correction and a 7 year ceramic coating from Chicago Autogleam. The interior is mint and everything works as it should. This STI is a base model which did not come with fog lights. I converted it to have fog lights using only OEM subaru parts and Morimoto LED foglights. When I purchased it, the only modifications were the Q300 exhaust and a Cobb intake, everything else was done while in my possession. I have receipts and paperwork for just about everything to prove this. THE BAD:Will need a new shortblock/rebuild due to ring land failure.My cars been sitting since late october when it first happened.I am a young father with a family that takes up 90% of my income so saving for a proper block hasn't progressed much at all in the past few months. I've decided to cut my losses and try and find a buyer as she currently sits. For those who have a built shortblock sitting around, this car is for you.
