Selling my Maserati Coupe to make space in my garage for a new purchase. I bought this car on July 21st 2017 in California from the original owner with 33,061 CarFax certified miles and it now has 33,434 miles, which include the 280 miles driven from Los Angeles to Las Vegas. The rest of the miles are from driving the car around the neighborhood a few times a month to keep the battery charged and the fluids and seals fresh. Previous owner already replaced the clutch kit at the Maserati dealership. I have never gotten to enjoy it and it’s time to cut my losses and move on. The car is extremely raw and powerful while also very reliable, and would be best suited for a sports car enthusiast or a collector. I am told that these coupes have hit their bottom and have started to appreciate in value like many other "hand-tool era" sports cars. It has been dealer serviced since new at Ferrari-Maserati of Orange County so I recommend you buy your own CarFax brand vehicle history report which is very comprehensive and lists the various repairs and services that have been completed since new. I also have ALL of the receipts from the Ferrari / Maserati dealership as well as all 3 of the original keys, original books/manuals, leather Maserati binder, original spare tire and tool kit, and original floor mats. Doesn’t leak a drop, never overheats, ice cold AC, and of course, no rust. Drives true and straight with no pulling, no shimmy and no rattles or odd noises of any kind. Tires look new and they all match. Exhaust note is unbelievable and you can hear this beast coming down the road just as you would a Ferrari. The photos and perfect CarFax complete the story. The car has two very minor flaws. The first is the window regulator on the drivers side. The window still works but the teeth on the regulator make a lot of noise when the window reaches the top (closed position). I believe it just needs to be tightened so the teeth connect better. The second are some very tiny bubbles on the dash from when the first owner had it refinished. He gave me a bottle of solution that removes them and I took about half of them off already when I waxed the car for the photos. You just need to spray and wipe until they’re all gone. Also, some of the buttons are sticky from the heat of summers past and I think they can be cleaned with the same solution. I also noticed that they sell the Maserati button kits here on eBay for $59, apparently it's a well known and common issue on all of these cars. As with any online vehicle purchase, I recommend having the car inspected for your own peace of mind. I know it’s in excellent condition for a 2004 model year and you can send a licensed and bonded professional to come to my house and inspect the car anytime. I think it’s obvious that I am losing a pile of money on a pampered car I never used so please don’t send me insulting offers. I am selling cheap to skip the haggling and save us both time. The car costs only $97 to register in CA and $238 in NV, and collector car insurance (full coverage) only costs me $480 per 12 months with Hagerty (an Allstate company). The car is a two owner vehicle. I am the second owner. Title is clean and in hand and in my name. I am a private party and thus cannot offer any warranties or financing. Therefore the vehicle is being advertised and sold in as-is where-is condition with no warranty written, expressed or implied. A $1000 deposit is to be made within 24 hours of auction close via bank to bank wire transfer. The remaining balance is due within 3 days of auction close via cash in person or bank to bank wire transfer. Cashiers checks from one of the 4 big banks are also fine.
