For sale is my 1998 Mercedes Benz SL500. The car currently has 102,500 miles and is in excellent condition inside and out. The car has undergone recent service and all maintenance is up to date. Most notably, fresh fluids, new brake booster, and four new tires all around. The headliner was also recently professionally reupholstered as it had begun to sag as most benzes from this era do. The soft top is in immaculate condition and all motors work flawlessly with no leaks for operating both tops. The wheels are 17" AMG monoblocks, in my opinion the best designed wheel for Mercedes from this era. All electronics function properly and the stereo sounds amazing with the Bose sub. The AC and heat also work perfectly. The paint is still very vibrant and shiny with no dents on the body. The interior shows perfectly with all woodgrain in mint condition and no cracks or discoloring. The leather is still plush with no stains or tears. The car does come with the factory windscreen secured in it's proper place in the trunk with the cover as well as the stand for the hard top when not in use. The car is in tip top shape mechanically and fires up with no hesitation and runs very strong and smooth. The R129 Mercedes is quickly becoming a modern classic and values are expected to continue to rise as all previous SL class Mercedes have. This is by far one of the best kept examples of the legendary R129 Mercedes and will make an excellent car for many year to come.
