This 2004 Jaguar X-Type was built in England and totaled out by the previous owners Insurance Company(Shelter Ins.)who valued this vehicle at $6000 before damage in consideration of low miles & overall excellent condition. The damage is front bumper, right front fender, right mirror and some minor scratches. Pictures will show undercarriage with mud that indicates off road, I can't see any damage such as floor pan, rockers, suspension or frame rails and have to believe that going into the mud is what made this a total loss in the eyes of the Insurance Co. The a/c does not blow cold and could have been damaged but hard to see, also no visible damage to radiator but noticed a small amount of coolant on the ground and found a hairline crack in a plastic upper radiator by-pass hose that is under the air box and part of the thermostat housing that can be seen in pictures. This plastic could have failed from age or the accident, I would guess the radiator is fine? I road tested and drives straight down the road and runs great without overheating but I would HIGHLY recommend trailering or shipping on transport because of coolant leak, just to get home with what you leave with because this is a very nice car and would not want to have more issues than what is here, just so ya know! The overall car is in good condition with no rust or hail dings and looks to have been well cared for with 4-recently installed Pirelli Tires and a great sounding 3.0L V6, good shifting tranny and low miles. The interior is also in good as new condition and you will be very satisfied. All options work as they should including heated leather seats, power moon roof, cruise and much more.
